We are looking for a dynamic Senior Global Sales Director to lead multiple market launches across Europe and other regions. In this role, you will be responsible for building a high-performing sales team from the ground up and developing effective strategies for lead conversion. As a key player in our Consulting & Sales division, you will drive customer acquisition, optimize the sales funnel, and establish our educational offerings as industry-leading resources. This position requires a motivated and experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced, international environments and is eager to shape the future of our sales operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a repeatable sales playbook to streamline execution and effectively bring sales strategies and solutions to market.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of the sales team, with a focus on inside sales, while overseeing Academy's customer base and sales channels.
- Manage the full sales team lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, goal setting, coaching, and performance development.
- Conduct daily performance reviews through individual meetings and team stand-ups, ensuring strong sales pipelines by analyzing progress, opportunities, and team activities.
- Set and monitor individual and team goals, regularly reporting on performance and taking actions to optimize results.
- Enforce CRM use, sales processes, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
- Leverage data for performance reporting and forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the Academy's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support top-of-funnel acquisition efforts.
- Provide support to in-house teams to enhance the overall company sales pipeline.
- Lead outbound campaigns with a "customer-first" approach, targeting investors, industry leaders, and private corporations.
- Ensure timely billing and collections from new and existing customers.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industry and consulting.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
- Passion for Digital Industries, with a desire to understand how digital solutions drive performance.
- Excellent communication skills in oral, written, and presentation formats.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Proven leadership abilities with a talent for developing and coaching high-performing teams.

- Extensive experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in high-volume environments.
- Successful experience in lead generation roles is a plus.

- Proficient in process-driven selling, with the ability to identify and address skill gaps within the team through targeted training and coaching.
- Skilled in performance coaching, with a clear understanding of the difference between coaching and feedback.
- Expertise in using CRM systems and KPI dashboards to manage and enhance team performance.
- Strong networking and communication skills, able to influence senior and C-suite contacts externally and collaborate effectively with internal subject matter experts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage performance through hands-on involvement.
