Job summary

Concentric Recruitment represents a fast-growing Deep Tech partner in Madrid seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for embedded systems. You will own the transition from prototype to production across software, platform and embedded domains.

The role spans testing, deployment, and secure updates beyond traditional cloud environments. You will design CI/CD pipelines, automate benchmarks, and drive scalable, on-premise and restricted-network deployments while collaborating with engineering leads to

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience across Software, Platform, Release or Embedded Engineering
• Strong Python and comfortable working with C++
• CI/CD experience across complex, non-trivial systems
• Automated testing, integration testing, benchmarking and release processes
• Experience deploying software beyond traditional cloud/SaaS environments
• Experience with embedded systems, physical devices, on-premise environments or restricted networks
• Strong understanding of production-quality software, APIs, module boundaries and code architecture
• Experience restructuring or improving existing production codebases
• Professional level of English

Responsibilities

• Taking two existing codebases and turning them into scalable, production-grade systems
• Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines across the full software stack
• Building automated testing and benchmarking to identify regressions before release
• Creating reliable deployment processes for embedded products and customer environments
• Designing secure software delivery, including packaging, signing, OTA updates, rollback and telemetry
• Ensuring changes can be tested and benchmarked in simulation before deployment
• Refactoring and improving existing code across repositories
• Improving APIs, service layers and software architecture
• Improving engineering quality, scalability, reliability and security
• Working with cloud infrastructure where required for simulation, testing and deployment
• Working closely with engineering leads and owning the platform layer
