Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an Sr. Electrical Product Design Engineer (Wiring and Schematics) to join the R+D+i team in Valencia. You will translate the conceptual architecture of inverters and electrical cabinets into the final technical documentation for manufacturing.

The role focuses on wiring design, interconnections, and compliance with international standards throughout product development. You will develop detailed electrical drawings, define cable harnesses, and optimize routing to ease

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
8+ years of experience creating electrical schematics and industrial wiring.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical schematics for high‑power inverter systems.
Size and route wiring to optimize space and reduce EMI.
Produce production documentation: BOMs, wiring lists, terminal diagrams.
Ensure compliance with international electrical safety standards and EMC requirements.
Collaborate with mechanical and production teams on cable routing and interconnections.
Define interconnections, harnesses, connectors, and internal equipment wiring.
