Our client is a globally respected design and engineering firm, known for delivering complex, sustainable, and high-performance infrastructure around the world. With a legacy of innovation and technical leadership, they play a pivotal role in designing and delivering data centres for some of the biggest names in tech.

They now need a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery on a major data centre facility in Spain.

Your Role :

1. Lead the electrical fit-out of hyperscale data halls, ensuring all systems meet spec, schedule, and performance standards.
2. Manage subcontractors handling electrical containment, mains installation, and cabling.
3. Coordinate all phases of electrical delivery—planning, execution, QA/QC, and safety.
4. Conduct site inspections and maintain quality oversight across all installations.
5. Collaborate closely with design, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring seamless delivery across workstreams.
6. Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior stakeholders and clients.
7. Proactively manage risks, issues, and onsite challenges to ensure timely handover.

Your Experience :

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
2. 4–5+ years of experience in electrical project management within data centre or complex MEP environments.
3. Solid understanding of MV/LV systems, UPS, containment, cable routing, and commissioning requirements.
4. Proven leadership in managing subcontractor performance and electrical quality delivery.
5. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
6. Proficiency in English (Spanish language skills highly desirable).
7. Eligibility to work in Spain and willingness to be site-based in Madrid.
