Formación

We are looking for a

Senior Electrical Engineer, expert in Siderurgy (steel factories), whose main responsibilities will include:

1. Setting design criteria in accordance with project specifications, applicable regulations, and contractual requirements.
2. Preparing and/or supervising the main electrical documents and activities for projects and proposals, such as electrical calculations, technical studies, equipment and material requisitions, technical reports, vendor drawings, etc.
3. Reporting to the leader and collaborating in managing the workload.
4. Supporting the execution of inspections, tests, and trials.
5. Providing on-site support when required.
6. Ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
7. Working closely with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
8. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the department through lessons learned, development of procedures, and training needs identification.
9. Training and mentoring junior engineers.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Education: University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in conceptual studies, basic engineering, and detailed engineering in large industrial projects, with at least 5 years in steel plants or metallurgical projects (electric arc furnaces, rolling mills, etc.).
• Knowledge of technical standards applicable to industrial electrical installations.
• Technical proficiency (minimum B2 level).
