AECOM seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Europe & India team in Madrid on a hybrid basis. You will design power and lighting systems for projects of varying size, lead design decisions, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and a strong grasp of international standards. You will mentor junior staff, manage project documentation, and interact with clients to present proposals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering with Electrical Emphasis.
• 8–10 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Knowledge of NFPA, BS, IEC and other international standards.
• Proficiency in electrical design and calculation for MV/LV systems; data centers a plus; CCTV, fire, and access control experience valued.

Responsabilidades

• Complete electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.
• Make major design decisions with limited input from senior staff.
• Plan design work, costs, and schedules; assign duties to junior staff.
• Coordinate design with architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and design data.
• Advise and review correspondence prepared by junior project team members.
• Attend project meetings and delegate activities when appropriate.
• Meet with clients, prepare proposals and presentations; maintain client relations.
• Assist in project checks for quality control on other projects.
