I’m currently working closely with a leading European IPP that is expanding their engineering team and looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join them in Spain. They focus on cutting-edge projects in the energy and infrastructure space, and this role plays a critical part in the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems for solar and wind sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
2. Create detailed plans and technical specifications for electrical installations.
3. Oversee and manage electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with budget and quality standards.
4. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Conduct site inspections, supervise installation works, and support commissioning and testing processes.
6. Maintain accurate documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and regulatory records.
7. Liaise with regulatory bodies and grid operators for project approvals and operational compliance.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a similar role.
2. Proven experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
3. Strong understanding of electrical components, system design principles, and technical standards.
4. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
6. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7. Fluency in Spanish and English.
8. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
