microTECH Global LTD is seeking an experienced professional with over 10 years in the industry to work closely with Analog and Mixed-Signal design teams in Madrid, Spain. The role involves modeling optoelectronic components, developing DSP algorithms, and optimizing hardware.

The ideal candidate should have a master's or Ph.D. in a related discipline, robust knowledge in Information Theory, and a commitment to high-quality development. Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++ is required.

Formación

• At least 10 years of industry experience in the related field.
• Strong background in Information Theory, DSP, and FEC for optical/electrical communication.
• Experience in modeling communication systems with an emphasis on optoelectronics.

Responsabilidades

• Model optoelectronic components to understand their impact on signal distortion.
• Invent and validate DSP algorithms for adaptive calibration and equalization.
• Measure and optimize algorithms on hardware correlating with prior simulations.
