Mission :

As an Algorithm Role within Thales, you will :

1. Work on Algorithm engineering for Big Data Analytics, optimisation algorithms, crypto, decision aid algorithms, Information analytics & fusion algorithms, Image processing, Sensor processing algorithms, or Waveform design and algorithms.
2. Define the system capabilities through functional, logical and value analysis, describing functions to meet the real needs of the user.
3. Analyse critically and constructively the systems / equipment needs.
4. Select and adapt algorithmic and / or IT solutions to meet the demand.
5. Prototype solutions in a realistic context.
6. Provide support to the validation teams.
7. Ensure the smooth running of the project including reporting and progress monitoring.
8. Embed solutions on different processing platforms.
9. Test the algorithm in a real environment.

Education & Qualifications :

1. You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
2. You have technical skills and enjoy teamwork.
3. You want to solve complex problems in a challenging environment.
4. You have proven dedication towards continuous improvement and learning new skills.
5. You are a self-starter, able to manage your workload and meet objectives.
6. You want to follow the latest trends in algorithm discipline.
7. You have knowledge of Algorithm design.
8. You have a deep understanding of foundational concepts in mathematics / physics / science.
9. You can critically analyse systems / equipment needs to determine potential issues.
10. You possess high levels of systems analysis and applied mathematics / statistics.
11. You master programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python).
12. You can implement and optimise algorithms on a digital platform.
13. You are able to write documentation for algorithm evolution.
14. You remain updated with the state of the art in your discipline.
