Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director within the BTI group to lead thought leadership and produce pragmatic insights for CIOs and technology executives. You will engage clients via in-person and virtual meetings, contribute to Gartner conferences, and guide strategic investment discussions with senior leadership.

The role demands extensive research, market forecasting, and an ability to translate corporate strategy into actionable business cases, including AI-driven transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Ability to develop differentiated thought leadership and strategic frameworks.
• Experience translating AI and other technologies into strategic business cases.
• Proven track record in executive-facing analysis and recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 25% where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, must-have insights content for clients.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership to address client needs.
• Analyze root causes of client barriers and reframe strategy.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide high-value presentations for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support sales by acting as voice of the market to drive engagement.
