Indra Space in Madrid is seeking a Senior Digital Hardware Engineer to design FPGA/SoC‑based digital boards and validate high‑speed interfaces. The role focuses on robust hardware with power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in digital hardware, experience with VME/OpenVPX, and proficiency in Matlab/LTSpice. This on‑site position offers global project exposure and growth within Indra Space.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in digital hardware engineering.
• Strong knowledge of FPGA/SoC/microcontroller‑based board design.
• Experience with high‑speed signal design and layout (DDR, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, JESD).
• Expertise in high‑speed ADC/DAC integration.
• Solid understanding of EMI/EMC protection methods.
• Experience with VME or OpenVPX architectures.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and simulation tools (Matlab, LTSpice) and signal/power integrity analysis.
• High‑level English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design digital hardware boards based on FPGA, SoC, and microcontrollers, including power delivery and clock networks.
• Develop high‑speed digital designs with proper layout for interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet, PCIe, JESD.
• Integrate and validate high‑speed ADCs/DACs.
• Define and implement EMI/EMC protection strategies.
• Work with VME and OpenVPX architectures.
• Use tools for schematic capture, simulation (Matlab, LTSpice), and signal/power integrity analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust hardware solutions.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Digital Hardware Engineer with solid experience in the design and development of complex digital boards, preferably for high‑performance or mission‑critical systems. The ideal candidate will be capable of designing FPGA/SoC/microcontroller‑based hardware, managing high‑speed interfaces, and ensuring robust performance, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.

• Design digital hardware boards based on FPGA, SoC, and microcontrollers, including power delivery stages, clock distribution networks, and associated architectures.
• Develop high‑speed digital designs, ensuring proper layout considerations for interfaces such as DDR, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, and JESD.
• Integrate and validate high‑speed ADCs/DACs.
• Define and implement EMI/EMC protection strategies.
• Work with VME and OpenVPX architectures.
• Use engineering tools for schematic capture, circuit simulation (e.g., Matlab, LTSpice), and signal/power integrity analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust hardware solutions that meet project requirements.
