Indra Group is searching for a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer specializing in FPGA-based digital boards to join their innovative team in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain. We are looking for an experienced hardware electronics engineer with strong expertise in FPGA‑based digital boards and high‑speed design. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of complex electronic systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design digital boards based on FPGA, SoC, and microcontrollers, including power stages and clock distribution.
• Develop high-speed signal designs, including layout considerations for DDR, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, and JESD.
• Work with high-speed ADC/DAC components in complex electronic systems.
• Implement and validate EMI/EMC protection strategies.
• Contribute to system architectures based on VME and OpenVPX standards.
• Perform design, simulation, and validation using tools such as Matlab and LTSpice.
• Analyze signal and power integrity using specialized tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware electronics design.
• Solid knowledge of FPGA‑based digital boards, SoC, and microcontrollers.
• Experience in high-speed signal design and PCB layout (DDR, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, JESD).
• Experience with high-speed ADC/DAC.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC protection techniques.
• Familiarity with VME and OpenVPX architectures.
• Experience with schematic capture and design/simulation tools (e.g., Matlab, LTSpice).
• Experience with signal and power integrity analysis tools.
• High level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Mentor Xpedition Designer.
• Experience with HyperLynx.
