Indra Group busca un Ingeniero de Firmware FPGA para trabajar en proyectos espaciales y de defensa, diseñando, desarrollando y validando soluciones FPGA con tecnologías Intel y Xilinx.

Trabajará en arquitecturas SoC, sistemas embebidos y DSP en FPGA, creando entornos de simulación, bancos de pruebas y procedimientos de validación, con enfoque en rendimiento y fiabilidad.

Formación

  • Formación en electrónica o ingeniería relacionada.
  • Experiencia en desarrollo FPGA con dispositivos Intel y Xilinx.
  • Conocimiento de herramientas de simulación, técnicas de validación y desarrollo de bancos de pruebas.
  • Experiencia con plataformas SoC, sistemas embebidos e integración de IP Core.
  • Conocimiento de DSP en FPGAs (filtros, FFTs y diseño de reloj de alto rendimiento).
  • Nivel avanzado de inglés.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y validar soluciones FPGA.
  • Implementar e integrar IP Cores y arquitecturas SoC (MicroBlaze, NIOS, Zynq, MPSoC, RFSoC).
  • Desarrollar algoritmos DSP en FPGA (filtros, FFTs, procesamiento de datos de alto rendimiento).
  • Crear entornos de simulación, bancos de pruebas y procedimientos de validación.
  • Apoyar la integración en laboratorio y pruebas con osciloscopios y analizadores de espectro.

We are looking for a FPGA Firmware Engineer with experience in FPGA development using Intel and Xilinx technologies, System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, embedded systems, digital signal processing, and high-frequency digital designs to join projects focused on advanced space and defense electronic systems, including FPGA-based signal processing and embedded computing solutions.

What will you do?
  • Design, develop, and validate FPGA firmware solutions using Intel and Xilinx technologies.
  • Implement and integrate IP Cores, embedded systems, and SoC architectures such as MicroBlaze, NIOS, Zynq, MPSoC, and RFSoC.
  • Develop digital signal processing algorithms in FPGA, including filters, FFTs, and high-performance data processing functions.
  • Create simulation environments, test benches, and validation procedures to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Support laboratory integration and testing activities using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in FPGA development with Intel and Xilinx devices.
  • Strong knowledge of simulation tools, validation techniques, and test bench development.
  • Experience with SoC platforms, embedded systems, and IP Core integration.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing in FPGAs, including filters, FFTs, and high-frequency clock domain designs.
  • Advanced level of English.
