Orbitant is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy and operate cloud foundations, Kubernetes clusters and AI infrastructure. Qualifications

• Senior DevOps Engineer with experience across different projects and environments.
• Hands-on in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and automation.
• Interest in AI-first approach and cost governance (FinOps).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teams and clients.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and operate cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform/OpenTofu) with a long-term focus.
• Own Kubernetes clusters end to end: networking, autoscaling, node pools, ingress, and lifecycle.
• Design and maintain GitOps deployment model (ArgoCD or equivalent) and Helm charts.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with reusable workflows and self-hosted runners.
• Own observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki; lead incident response and postmortems.
• Manage identity, access and secrets as code; harden security in sensitive envs.
• Build and operate AI infra: GPU inference servers and multi-provider routing (AI Gateway).
• Make infra and AI costs visible; govern with attribution, budgets and quotas (FinOps).
• Contribute to scalable platform architectures with the team; reduce friction for devs.
• Define platform standards and drive adoption without bottlenecks.
• Lead technically and mentor the DevOps team; share knowledge across Orbitant.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and AI-first tooling adoption.
