What are we looking for?

For our specialized team, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, with the possibility of working remotely, from anywhere in Spain.

You will participate in the entire data lake lifecycle : maintain and evolve the Cloud Data Platform (CDF) that supports the data lake, and collaborate with other teams on implementing and integrating the related business case as well as ensuring that the best practices and principles described by the data reference architecture are landed and applied according to the our client’s standards.

Work location : 100% remote, within Spain.

Working hours : M-F from 9.00 to 18.00

Job Responsabilities / Role

As part of our team, the candidate will work in the following key deliveries :

• Analytics application which enabled integration of new profiles in our data platform.
• MicroStrategy application with the cloud data platforms.
• SailPoint API integration with the cloud Data Platform.
• Archival solutions which enabled us to send files to deep archive.
• Lake formation tag refactoring.
• Adding an additional environment where users can test their processes.

Mandatory Skills

Profile with demonstrable experience as DevOps and Cloud.

Needs to have experience working in AWS environments in the data analytics area. The key AWS service to know : Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, IAM, EMR.

Needs to have a good understanding of DevOps principles and well-architected framework.

Needs to have experience working in Terraform of CloudFormation for IaC.

Needs a good understanding in CI / CD, ideally using GitHub Actions (however not essential, can be ay CI / CD provider).

Experience using version control system like GitHub.

Proactive person willing to learn and ask question.
