Senior DevOps Engineer

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.

Please note : you must have at least 6+ years of experience as DevOps to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Continuously improve the process of software delivery, from estimation to deployment, while maintaining a sustainable pace.
• Communicate technical ideas and direction across the company.
• Develop system monitoring and support automation to enhance and scale the quality.
• Work hand-in-hand with Artists, Animators, Client Development Team, and Engineering Team.

EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of prior experience in scalable technology / software business in a DevOps role.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud computing and hands-on experience working with GCP.
• Experience working with dependency management tools.
• Experience using technologies in several of the following areas : microservices, storage, containerization, orchestration, build systems, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
• Experience in the delivery of complex monitoring solutions.
• Experience working with IaC tools (Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience working with Kubernetes, SonarQube, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Understanding of SDLC process.
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Experienced developing systems and determining most appropriate architectural design patterns.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven self-leadership and ability to plan long-term as well as manage a day-to-day schedule for completing deliverables.
• Proactive, target and delivery-driven with strong self-discipline.
• Great attention to detail.
• Have solid written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
