About the Role

TechDelivery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Consultant with strong communication skills and deep experience with GitHub Copilot to support a DevOps enablement initiative across multiple technical teams. This role is primarily advisory and focuses on ensuring adoption of best practices by Technical Leads—not on direct implementation.

• Act as a technical coach for approximately 50 Technical Leads, helping them implement a defined set of DevOps tasks.
• Do not implement tasks yourself , but conduct 1 : 1 sessions with each Tech Lead to explain :
• The purpose and required steps.
• How to document evidence of completion (e.g., screenshots, output data).
• How to incorporate the process into CI / CD pipelines.
• Schedule follow-up meetings to verify implementation and provide support.
• Maintain a centralized repository containing implementation evidence.
• Deliver regular progress reports to project stakeholders.
• Advocate best practices in the use of GitHub Copilot , including :
• Writing usage guidelines.
• Identifying risks, anti-patterns, and boundaries of the tool.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or DevOps Consultant .
• Expertise in software architecture and SOLID principles .
• Extensive experience with GitHub Copilot in production environments.
• Ability to author internal guidelines and educate teams on tooling.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (pipelines, automation tasks).
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Autonomous, persistent, and proactive mindset.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and tracking deliverables.
• Centralized repository with evidence of implementation per team.
• Periodic status reports on progress and task completion.
• Must be located in Barcelona .
• Required onsite presence twice a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) .
