A fast-growing CleanTech start-up, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in scaling its intelligent EV charging optimisation platform. The company is at the forefront of the energy transition, developing smart technology that connects electric vehicles, charging stations, and the energy grid to enable cleaner, more efficient charging.

The Role :

This is a high-impact position combining DevOps leadership with backend expertise. The successful candidate will own cloud infrastructure and CI / CD processes, while supporting backend systems that power a next-generation energy platform.

Key Requirements :

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong background in CI / CD pipeline development and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
• Java backend development is essential.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) and understanding of cloud security best practices.

Nice to Have :

• Exposure to GitLab CI / CD, MongoDB, or Quarkus.
• Experience in energy, mobility, or CleanTech sectors.
• Broader software engineering or distributed systems knowledge.
