In the course of the implementation of LGT‘s digital vision, LGT Digital Factory (DiF) acts as a strategic nearshore partner to implement state-of-the-art digital products for clients and employees. To fulfill this mission, we interact closely with LGT business and IT units. You can expect state-of-the-art development tools and best-in-class DevOps processes. Together with a young, highly motivated team you will help build and run the promising platform for Software developers.

We seek a skilled Senior DevOps to join our team and take charge of operating and developing Nimbus, the cutting-edge cloud development platform for software products. As the backbone of our development infrastructure, Nimbus provides a seamless environment for our teams to design, build, test, and deploy applications efficiently. We work exclusively for LGT Private Bank group and provide our colleagues in IT and business with a highly functional and reliable infrastructure.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Platform Engineering, Cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices. Experience with containerization, orchestration tools, and scripting languages is essential. A deep understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to work collaboratively with product development teams is crucial for success in this role. The following specific skills / experience are required :

5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role Strong experience with Azure cloud services, particularly AKS, AWS or GCP. Proficient in container orchestration and Kubernetes administration Experience with Crossplane for infrastructure orchestration Expertise in developing custom Kubernetes operators using Kubebuilder Strong knowledge of policy engines (Kyverno and OPA Gatekeeper) Experience with secret management solutions (External Secrets, Azure Key Vault, CSI drivers) Hands-on experience with CNI plugins and network configurations Expertise in implementing and managing ingress / egress controllers Scaled Observability with Open Telemetry, Mesh and eBPF Tooling Strong programming skills in Golang for backend services Advanced knowledge of scaled-up GitLab CI / CD and GitOps practices Experience with Infrastructure as and from Code (IaC & IfC) Understanding of container security and network policies English Business fluent
