The Group :

Our Custom Silicon & Consumer Solutions (CSS) team leads in sensing, signal processing, and power solutions, including Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Optical Sensing, Audio, PMIC, and hybrid mixed-signal developments. The Position : ADI is seeking a SENIOR DESIGNER, LAYOUT to join our European CSS Layout Team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of working effectively within a talented, collaborative group across multiple locations. You will join a team of analog, digital, mixed-signal CMOS designers, mask layout designers, verification and validation engineers, and more, working on state-of-the-art PMICs. Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities :

• Develop IP through mask layout design, collaborating with IP designers and understanding sub-circuit sensitivities.
• Take ownership of layout for large-scale sub-blocks, including scheduling and floorplanning.
• Support project management and task planning.
• Utilize Cadence Virtuoso IC61 / IC18 / IC20 tools proficiently.
• Apply VXL scripting skills effectively.
• Use Mentor Graphics Calibre for LVS, DRC, ERC, and other checks.
• Design layouts with attention to LVS, DRC, antenna effects, density, and DFM considerations.
• Follow standard layout practices, including noise isolation, supply considerations, and shielding.
• Design circuits with ESD considerations in mind.
• Plan and organize work efficiently.
• Communicate effectively within a global team environment.
• Improve design processes through documentation and collaboration.
• Scripting in PERL or SKILL is advantageous.

Key Qualifications :

• BSc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of IC layout experience.
• Scripting skills in PERL or SKILL are a plus.
• Strong team player with experience in multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and multi-site environments.
