Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Design Management Leader to coordinate architectural and engineering functions for complex life sciences facilities in Europe. Based in Madrid, you will guide multidisciplinary design teams, define execution strategies, and ensure compliance with QA/QC and regulatory standards throughout the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject.
• Spanish language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Experience delivering complex EPCM projects in Pharma/Life sciences.
• Excellent organizational, budgeting and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design management activities across disciplines.
• Define design execution plans and QA processes.
• Manage client relationships and project communications.
• Ensure compliance with Design Management QMS and regulatory standards.
• Support Earned Value and project controls within the team.
