Senior Demand Planner: UK/Ireland S&OP Leader

Zusammenfassung

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to own and drive the consolidated demand plan for the UK/Ireland region within the European Demand Planning team. You will partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to deliver an accurate demand forecast and support inventory optimization.

In this role, you will lead the monthly S&OP process, provide insights, challenge assumptions, and drive improvements across planning capabilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Engineering, Finance or related discipline.
• Proficiency in English language.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, S&OP or related analytics.
• Experience leading planning processes across multiple markets or product portfolios.
• Strong experience with ERP/APS/forecasting tools and data analytics.
• Kinaxis is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and large data sets experience.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and lead multiple initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.
• Strategic mindset translating business strategy into planning decisions.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end consolidated demand plan across UK/Ireland region.
• Lead the monthly demand planning process with cross-functional alignment.
• Develop robust, data-driven forecast across short-, mid-, long-term horizons.
• Challenge forecast assumptions with data analysis and market intelligence.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities; develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias and other KPIs with root cause analysis.
• Translate demand trends into insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Integrate new product launches, transitions, promotions, and discontinuations.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems and governance.
• Champion best practices and develop planning capability across Europe.
• Mentor Demand Planners and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with plants, distribution centers and suppliers to translate plans into execution.
