About the job Senior Database Engineer (Hybrid)

At TalentfySeek, we are recruiting for one of our clients in Barcelona for a Senior Database Engineer position in a hybrid setup.

Our client, a leader in delivering innovative digital content, provides solutions for the digital transformation of magazines, enabling access from any device anywhere in the world. Their platform has delivered more than 750 million digital editions to over 10 million users across 200 countries.

What will you do in this role?

• Coordinate with development and DevOps teams to solve dependencies, identify bottlenecks, and prevent incidents.
• Communicate effectively in English without any issues.
• Collaborate with team members with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

• +3 years of experience with the following technologies:
  • Administration (Bash, Python, Shell Scripting).
  • Database administration in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DocumentDB.
  • Monitoring tools like AWS Performance Insights, Grafana, or Percona.
  • Aurora and Amazon RDS.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker or container concepts.
• Hands-on experience with provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Opensearch, and DynamoDB.
