About the job Senior Database Engineer (Hybrid)

At TalentfySeek, we are recruiting for one of our clients in Barcelona for a Senior Database Engineer position in a hybrid setup.

What will you do in this role?

• Coordinate with development and DevOps teams to solve dependencies, identify bottlenecks, and prevent incidents.
• Communicate effectively in English without any issues.
• Collaborate with team members with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

• +3 years of experience with the following technologies:
  • Administration (Bash, Python, Shell Scripting).
  • Database administration in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DocumentDB.
  • Monitoring tools like AWS Performance Insights, Grafana, or Percona.
  • Aurora and Amazon RDS.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker or container concepts.
• Hands-on experience with provisioning and configuration management using Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Opensearch, and DynamoDB.
