Your Mission as a Senior Data Software Engineer :

• Lead Data Strategy : Analyze clients' IT ecosystems and define the best approaches for creating high-quality, scalable data assets.
• Develop & Optimize : Build, develop, and optimize sophisticated data pipelines and workflows using leading technologies such as Hadoop, Exasol and more.
• Enhance Efficiency : Apply data modeling strategies and performance tuning to ensure data readiness and rapid decision-making.
• Collaborate & Guide : Work with global teams and mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and knowledge to elevate project outcomes.
• Innovate & Implement Trends : Keep up-to-date with industry trends in data engineering, integrating best practices and cutting-edge solutions into projects.
• Project Leadership : Lead and manage data projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality, tailored to your seniority.

What We’re Looking For in a Senior Data Software Engineer :

• Extensive Expertise : Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with mastery of tools such as Hadoop, Exasol and various open-source technologies.
• Technical Mastery :

Core Skills : Advanced understanding of data architecture patterns, data modeling, and real-time data processing.

• Pipeline Development : Expertise in building and managing real-time data pipelines with tools like Flink, Kafka and Spark.
• Programming Proficiency : Expert knowledge in Java and Spring Boot . Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Data Knowledge : Profound understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric concepts—and the know-how to apply them effectively.
• Knowledge of Apache Maven for project build automation, including dependency management, plugin configuration, and lifecycle execution.
• Container orchestration technologies : Proven experience working with Kubernetes.
• Strong Communication : Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Language Skills : Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Leadership Mindset : Proactive, collaborative, and eager to mentor team members while driving projects to success.

PPP : Performance-based Bonus – If the Global objectives , Strategic Business Unit objectives , and Business Unit objectives are met, employees may receive a benefits payout of 2% of their salary , which could increase to 4% based on performance.
