Key Responsibilities :

• Work on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems in the Retail and CPG space.
• Design and implement advanced predictive models to analyze trends and behaviors in the Retail, CPG, and Agro sectors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across data engineering, product, and business teams to understand objectives and provide data-driven solutions.
• Develop data models and pipelines to support analytical and machine-learning initiatives.
• Leverage domain knowledge in Retail, CPG, and Agro to produce insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present insights, recommendations, and data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain best practices in data science and machine learning, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate, coach, and learn with a growing team of experienced Data Scientists.
• Stay connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
• Support demands from regulators, investor relations, etc., to develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Requirements :

• 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, focusing on the Retail, CPG, and Agro industries.
• Proficiency in Python (including pipeline creation, pytest, data manipulation with Pandas), R, SQL; strong understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of the Retail, CPG, and Agro industries, including datasets, trends, and KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI / CD practices, model deployment, and monitoring is a plus.
• Bias for action, with strong task prioritization and time management skills.
• Proactive, curious, flexible attitude, and a can-do personality.
