MindMatch is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Valencia, Spain, to lead end-to-end ML and advanced analytics initiatives. You will work across the full data science lifecycle, from exploration to deployment, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to drive measurable value.

The role emphasizes traditional ML over generative AI and requires fluency in English and Spanish. Youll design scalable ML pipelines, analyze large datasets, and translate insights into actionable business

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will focus on traditional Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics initiatives, working with large-scale datasets to develop and deploy production-ready solutions. You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities, build analytical products, and translate insights into measurable business value. This role is primarily focused on classical Machine Learning rather than Generative AI or Large Language Models.

What Youll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics solutions.

What Youll Need

• Strong experience in Machine Learning and statistical modelling.
• Proven expertise in forecasting, optimisation, clustering, regression, recommendation systems, and other advanced analytics techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience working with Databricks and large-scale datasets.
• Experience with model selection, validation, performance evaluation, and explainability methodologies.
• Experience building and maintaining production‑grade ML pipelines.
• Strong communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
• Strong business mindset with the ability to connect analytical solutions to tangible business outcomes.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
• Experience in commercial use cases such as pricing, forecasting, assortment optimisation, or supply chain optimisation.
