En Mimacom buscamos un Data Engineer de nivel medio-senior que diseña, construye y optimiza plataformas de datos modernas en entornos cloud para analytics e IA.

Trabajarás junto a Data Scientists y analistas para entregar soluciones confiables y escalables, con foco en la calidad de datos y rendimiento. Se valora experiencia en Power BI y DataOps.

Formación

• Experiencia práctica en Databricks y PySpark.
• Dominio de Python y SQL para ETL y transformaciones.
• Experiencia en diseño de pipelines de ingestión y Big Data.
• Conocimiento de modelos de datos y estructuras analíticas.
• Habilidades de colaboración y comunicación en inglés y español.
• Se valora experiencia con Power BI, DataOps y CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, construir y mantener pipelines de ingestión y transformación de datos a gran escala.
• Desarrollar y optimizar soluciones de datos con Databricks, Python, PySpark y SQL.
• Trabajar en entornos de Big Data para analytics e IA.
• Diseñar e implementar modelos de datos y estructuras analíticas robustas.
• Garantizar calidad, rendimiento y operatividad de las plataformas de datos.
• Colaborar estrechamente con Data Scientists y analistas para entregar soluciones basadas en datos.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing modern data platforms that support analytics and AI initiatives. You will work closely with Data Scientists, analysts, and business and technology stakeholders to build reliable, scalable, and efficient data solutions in cloud-based environments.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data solutions using Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Work with large-scale and Big Data environments to support analytics and AI use cases.
• Design and implement robust data models and analytical data structures.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and operational excellence across data platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, analysts, and cross-functional business and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

What You'll Need

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience designing and building data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Experience working with large-scale or Big Data environments.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and analytical data structures.
• Experience improving data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Fabric.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with DataOps practices, CI/CD, and automated data pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI or other analytics consumption layers.

We are looking for professionals with significant hands-on experience in modern cloud data platforms. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on SSIS or traditional ETL tooling without substantial exposure to modern cloud-based data engineering environments will not be considered a strong match for this role.
