Senior Data Scientist

Role's Mission

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist to join our Data Science team and answer client questions through analytical techniques. You will work closely with both the commercial team and the operations and global Data Science teams.

Our ideal candidate should have a passion for discovering patterns from large data sets and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and solve business problems.

Key Outcomes

1. End-to-end production of technical analysis in advanced analytics solutions.
2. Support and develop new solutions collaborating with the Global Innovation Team to provide the best answers for clients' business questions.
3. Explain processes and results to clients and internal teams, regardless of their technical background.

Key Capabilities

Ideal candidate background:

• University Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent quantitative fields.
• Business proficiency in English (C1 level minimum).
• At least 5 years of confirmed experience in similar roles. Marketing research experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using R. Experience with Shiny and package development is desirable.
• Experience with other data science languages and frameworks (Python/Spark) and coding in other languages (Java, JavaScript, C++) is desirable.
• Deep understanding of modeling techniques such as clustering, GLMs, decision trees, ensembling techniques, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with creativity. Experience with version control tools (Git, etc.) is desirable.
• Knowledge of databases.
• Experience with SAS and Power BI or other dashboarding tools is desirable.
• Critical thinking and a genuine passion for consumer behavior.
• Proactive, optimistic, and willing to contribute to team goals.
• Highly collaborative and adaptable, effective in diverse cultural and technical environments.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Native or fluent in English and Spanish.
