Job Description

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) engineer will be responsible for RPA process initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to design and implement automation solutions using RPA technologies to create and optimize workflow processes. The senior automation engineer will identify potential process efficiencies across the organization through process mining, documenting, developing, and testing RPA solutions. The RPA team will support the business and IT in automating repetitive manual tasks through process automation solutions. This vacancy is open for candidates in Europe, the UK, or India.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate experience in systems design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, workflows, and processes to be documented and automated.
• Design, develop, and test automation workflows using RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
• Establish standards and ensure adherence for source code management, deployment, monitoring, and reporting of automation solutions.
• Create technical and user guide documentation.
• Apply excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex troubleshooting.
• Produce technical design and process flow documentation and present to technology and business stakeholders.
• Provide mentoring to junior team members and contribute to performance evaluations.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of overall technology experience, with 3-5 years in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, or .NET.
• Experience consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with automation tools and RPA platforms like UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Platform / Automate.
• Operational knowledge of business or insurance processes is a plus.
