Senior Data Scientist

At Capitole we continue to grow, and we are looking for a :

Senior Data Scientist to join an international client, based in Barcelona. With at least 6 years of experience Involved in managing Artificial intelligence solutions, Architectures, and proposing technical solutions. Ideally with strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data security principles.

The Data & Analytics team is creating the Artificial Intelligence vertical and is looking for a profile to lead AI initiatives and strategy.

As a Senior Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include :

• Take a hands-on approach to leading and managing the development and implementation of AI strategies and initiatives (Use Cases) across the organization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of AI technologies, aiming to improve business outcomes, optimize operations, and foster a culture of innovation.
• Be responsible for developing and governing our data strategy to propel business and product development through a data-driven decision-making journey. This includes creating AI products, procedures, and policies, and collaborating with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets. Your role will ensure the company adheres to industry best practices and complies with legal standards.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions, conducting regular assessments and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

What you'll need :

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or similar areas.
• Masters degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, advanced studies in Data Science / Analytics is desirable but not mandatory.
• Certifications in AI, data science, or project management (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty) are a plus.
• Proficiency in English is a must

Experience :

• Proven 6 years of experience in AI strategy development, implementation, and project management within a multinational corporation or similar environment.
• Verifiable experience having managed Artificial intelligence solutions, projects, Architectures, and proposing technical solutions.
• Understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data security principles.
