• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in sales or business analytics.

• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Digital Sales Hub in Barcelona. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modelling, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, follow up, and deliver analytics projects, including definition of data sources, data pipelines and consistency of data models.
• Design, customize and implement statistical and predictive models to optimize sales processes and strategies (XGboost, SVM, clustering, attribution models, statistical ranking models…)
• Develop and present comprehensive data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring that complex data insights are understood and actionable.
• Mentor and guide junior data analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Review and oversee tasks performed by juniors, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a sales or business analytics role.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and technical leadership.
• Proficiency in Python, advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale cloud data analysis frameworks and data governance.
• Ability to find the simplest modelling solution according to the characteristics of each problem.
• Ability to extract and translate business metrics and questions from data sets into well-documented and actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
