Morningstar is seeking experienced Senior Data Research Analysts in Madrid for our EMEA Data Team. You’ll lead data initiatives, ensure accuracy, and manage provider relationships to deliver high-quality investment data.

You’ll translate client requests into detailed specs, collaborate with global teams, and apply LEAN Six Sigma to improve processes and tools, driving impactful data-driven results for investors worldwide.

Qualifications

• Multilingual communicator: fluent in Thai and English.
• Financial data specialist: strong understanding of investment data, methodologies, fund structures.
• Strategic problem solver: ownership of data challenges and process improvements.
• Technically skilled & process-oriented: proficient in Excel and data quality methodologies; strong PM skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data initiatives to improve accuracy, timeliness, and coverage of investment data.
• Act as a data expert on fund structures, methodologies, and calculations.
• Build and maintain relationships with data providers; set up acquisition channels and handle escalations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues.
• Implement LEAN Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes and analytical tools.
• Ensure high levels of data accuracy, completeness, and quality for internal and external clients.
• Manage high volumes of data, meeting deadlines while continuously improving workflows.

About This Role

We’re looking for experienced Thai speakers to join our team as Senior Data Research Analysts. Our EMEA Data Team is dedicated to delivering top-quality financial data that empowers investors worldwide. In this role, you’ll be a key data expert, working closely with the Global Data Team and business partners to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of investment data. You’ll also lead data acquisition initiatives, manage provider relationships, and drive process improvements. What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Technically skilled & process-oriented: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in data quality methodologies, you bring strong project management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary Compensation Range

EUR 39.000,00-52.333,33

Bonus Target: 7,5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
