Launchmetrics in Girona, Spain, is seeking a Data Engineer for an on-site role to help build and scale our data platform. You’ll design pipelines, implement Delta Lake schemas and work with cross-functional teams to improve data reliability and accessibility.

You’ll use PySpark, Databricks and AWS to deliver batch and near-real-time data enrichment for Discover and Delta Sharing. English fluency is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Engineer Degree or Master in Computer Science.
• 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience in SaaS.
• Strong Python and PySpark experience; distributed data processing at scale.
• Familiarity with lakehouse architectures (Databricks/Delta Lake).
• Knowledge of schema evolution and data quality patterns.
• Ability to design reliable data pipelines and troubleshoot at scale.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build data pipelines (batch and near-real-time) using PySpark and Databricks.
• Architect Delta Lake tables with partitioning and schema evolution.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and other data engineers to translate requirements.
• Maintain code quality with structured PySpark jobs and unit tests.
• Improve pipeline reliability and cost efficiency; optimize scheduling and retries.
• Participate in cross-pod initiatives within the data platform.
