Sabia Personal is seeking a senior data engineer to own end-to-end data platform design, governance, and large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines. You will collaborate with ML/AI teams, clients, and cross-functional groups to ensure clean, versioned, and accessible data at scale.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's in CS/SE or related field.
• 4+ years in data engineering with production data platforms or pipelines.
• Expert Python and SQL skills.
• Data modeling, ETL development, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Lakehouse architectures and Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake experience.
• Spark and orchestration with Airflow or Argo Workflows.
• Cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) with Kubernetes.
• Data governance: catalogs, metadata, lineage, access control, versioning.
• Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong English communication; able to lead technical discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end data platform design and delivery (lakehouse, catalog, governance).
• Design, implement, and operate large ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows.
• Define data modeling, partitioning, schema evolution, and versioning.
• Maintain authoritative data catalogs with schemas, metadata, and lineage.
• Validate datasets against sources for completeness and performance.
• Collaborate with ML/AI engineers to make data products consumable.
• Work with clients and cross-functional teams; document architectures.
• Mentor other data engineers; review designs and code.
• Stay updated on trends and drive adoption when valuable.
