Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of the Allianz Data Platform and the DAP portfolio. You will translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables for engineering teams, coordinating across distributed teams and stakeholders.

You will drive governance, agile ceremonies, and ensure alignment with the three-year architecture roadmap, coaching junior managers and collaborating with senior engineers and platform architects.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional experience in technical project management delivering complex cross-functional tech projects.
• 1+ year contributing to system design/architecture discussions in data/analytics contexts.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and credibility with engineering teams on technical topics.
• Familiar with programming/scripting languages (Python/SQL/Bash).
• Experience with end-to-end Data Product Management including data governance, quality and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data/analytics/AI platform projects across cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with new technologies to improve platform usability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee full development lifecycle from design to maintenance and delivery.
• Define governance: risk, dependencies, status reporting and escalation paths.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and cross-team coordination across distributed teams.
• Mentor junior project managers and support professional development.
• Align with three-year architecture and delivery roadmap with architects and engineers.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and tooling.
