Senior Data Engineer (S-952)

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Delivery Team.

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and systems. You will work closely with our team of data experts to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business insights and decision-making for our client. Excellent communication skills are essential, as part of the client's team is in India.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines.
2. Collaborate with analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
3. Proficiency in SQL and PySpark.
4. Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.
5. Maintain and enhance our CI/CD architecture, designing improvements to our data infrastructure.
6. Mentor and guide junior data engineers, framing projects and assigning priorities to key deliverables.

Qualifications:

1. 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
2. Proficiency with Azure Cloud (with vast knowledge in Azure Data Factory in particular) and Databricks.
3. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills in English (Spanish is desirable).
