We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer willing to play a leadership role in a pioneering company in the Marketing sector that combines technology, AI, and creative strategies to deliver cutting-edge web design, SEO, social media management, and digital analytics solutions.

  • Salary : Up to 65K + variable
  • Full remote

1. Data Governance Leadership

  • Lead the definition and implementation of data governance policies including cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and security.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and the reliability of organizational data assets.
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient data architectures.
  • Future-proof the infrastructure to handle increasing data volume and complexity.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with key stakeholders (business, data science, marketing, etc.) to gather data requirements.
  • Provide transparency on project progress and deliver impactful data solutions.

4. Data Exploration & Optimization

  • Participate in exploratory data analysis to detect patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Use insights to inform the design and optimization of data pipelines and models.

5. Technical Leadership & Best Practices

  • Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering : CI / CD, automated testing, and proactive monitoring.
  • Set high engineering standards and mentor team members.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally in high-scale or distributed environments.
  • Proven expertise in data technologies such as Spark, Airflow, DBT, Kafka, Snowflake, and / or Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience applying DevOps principles to data pipelines : CI / CD, version control, monitoring, and testing.
  • Strong ability to design and implement data models for analytics, BI, and machine learning applications.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), especially data-related services.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within technical teams.
