This remote EU-friendly role offers a contract through 2026 with potential extension. You’ll work with an AWS deployment, translate pipelines for performance, and support Airflow orchestration.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data migrations (GCP to AWS).
• Strong Scala and Spark expertise.
• Experience with testing, validation, and data quality.
• Experience handling large, business-critical datasets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the final 30% of a complex data migration (GCP to AWS).
• Adapt an existing Scala-based Spark codebase.
• Translate pipelines for AWS compatibility and performance.
• Support Airflow orchestration.
• Ensure robust testing, validation, and monitoring across pipelines.
