Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Data Engineer to drive large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake and maintain reliable Airflow workflows. You will collaborate with the data platform team to migrate ~1,000 datasets and adapt pipelines to Snowflake while preserving data quality and performance.

The role requires 3+ years Python, advanced SQL, Snowflake modeling, and Airflow expertise, with 2+ years handling big data and Spark. Flexible remote/office options available, with overlap until 12 PM PT.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Advanced SQL with joins, CTEs, window functions, and tuning.
• Snowflake data modeling.
• Apache Airflow — pipelines in Airflow and Python.
• Iceberg and Parquet data formats.
• AWS experience, particularly S3 for data lakes.
• Testing strategy experience, hands-on debugging and testing.
• At least 2 years with large-scale datasets, Airflow and Spark.
• Overlap until 12 PM Pacific Time.

Responsibilities

• Work with data platform team on a large-scale modernization.
• Migrate ~1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
• Adapt pipelines to Snowflake following internal architecture.
• Ensure data quality and reliability during migration.
• Support workflow scheduling and monitoring in Airflow 3.
• Execute time-sensitive migrations (Airflow 2→3, region migrations, Iceberg move).
• Help accelerate migration initiatives through March 2027.
