Senior Data Engineer (Python Spark SQL) Madrid onsite to €120,000

Do you have a first class education combined with Data Engineering skills? You could be progressing your career at a start-up Investment Management firm that has secure backing, an established Hedge Fund client as a partner, and massive growth potential.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in transitioning the core data platform to Azure, managing 3rd party data ingestion and integration. You'll collaborate and be supported by a small team, seeking ways to improve data quality and introduce event streaming.

Location:

Madrid, onsite, full-time (Monday to Friday).

About you:

• You have studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) and have achieved 9.0+ in Bachillerato and 7.0+ in University, with a preference for Computer Science or Mathematics.
• You have commercial Data Engineering experience with SQL, Apache Spark, Python, including PySpark and Pandas.
• You understand modern data engineering best practices.
• You are excited to join a start-up and can influence the role.
• You are collaborative with excellent English communication skills.
