Templeton & Partners in Madrid seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build and operate end-to-end data pipelines in the FX domain. You will deliver scalable, reliable data platforms and collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex data problems.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of hands-on Python and Java, AWS, Spark, and Docker experience, plus a strong focus on production reliability, debugging, and modern AI-assisted development workflows.

Formación

• At least 6 years of professional experience.
• Strong experience with Python and Java.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Hands-on with big data tools and workflows such as Spark.
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Build and support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and orchestration processes.
• Work with big data technologies and analytical data storage formats.
• Develop reliable, production-ready solutions with strong attention to debugging and operational stability.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Use modern development practices, including AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, to improve productivity.
• Support platform and infrastructure decisions where needed.
