We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a long-term, stable position within a leading multinational group in the aviation and travel sector.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing robust data pipelines and models to support advanced analytics and AI-driven initiatives across the group. This role is key to ensuring high data quality, reliability, and scalability in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows.
  • Clean, transform, and model large-scale datasets for analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and document best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4–5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake or ClickHouse, Python, SQL, and AWS.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing, modelling, and integration.
  • Experience in data governance and quality frameworks.
  • Desirable experience with Airflow, AMOS, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
  • Desirable familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Valuable exposure to ML workflows is a plus.
