A leading multinational technology company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Python. What are we looking for?Senior Data Engineer with experience in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Python, working closely with one of our main clients in the financial sector.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
Optimize Snowflake data warehouse performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Transfer data sources and pipelines to Snowflake cloud databases.
Utilize Airflow and DBT for data orchestration and transformation.
Construct tests and deploy via automated release pipelines.
Apply data modeling theories and best practices.
Work within an agile methodology, participating in ceremonies and supporting Scrum activities.
What we expect from you :
Experience with Snowflake and cloud databases.
Knowledge of Airflow and DBT is advantageous.
Proficiency in Python within a Data Engineering context.
Strong understanding of ETL / ELT patterns, data modeling, and optimized SQL coding.
Experience in building robust data pipelines with failure handling and metadata management.
Optional certifications in Snowflake or DBT.
Experience in cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of data governance tools like Collibra is a plus.
Excellent English skills (C1 level) for international collaboration.
Work location :
100% remote within Spain.
