This company is one of the biggest and most successful businesses within their niche FinTech market space, with massive plans to build new Tech, Data & Delivery teams in 2025. Over the past 10+ years, they have established themselves in multiple countries and received numerous industry awards.

About the Role

They partner with some of the largest global FinTech companies and process various data types, which is where this role comes in. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to their growing data platform, developing infrastructure for their data finance product suite. Ideal candidates will have a FinTech background, solid experience as a Data Engineer, and familiarity with the skills listed below.

Location & Language Requirements

This role is based in Malaga, Spain. Candidates should have Russian and English language skills to facilitate communication across global teams. The company offers a relocation package to Spain, and once onboarded, you will be expected to work 2 days a week in their Central Malaga offices.

Role Responsibilities

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Proficiency in Python.
3. Experience with Apache Airflow / Airflow DAGS.
4. Design, develop, and test ETL processes.
5. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across global teams.
6. Aiming to step into a more senior role, if not already.
