The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing and managing our data infrastructure and implementing solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics. Your responsibilities include implementing scalable data solutions, collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders, and ensuring data quality, compliance, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize and improve data workflows and processes for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data protection standards and regulations.
• Collaborate to establish robust data governance practices.
• Develop and maintain complex data models supporting strategic initiatives.
• Oversee and enhance data infrastructure and manage the data platform.
• Define and execute a long-term data architecture strategy.
• Facilitate data ingestion and transformation for seamless integration.
• Support team members in creating reports and analytics.
• Contribute to advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Deliver medium to large-scale features independently.
• Promote best practices for code maintainability and performance.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expertise in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow/Apache Beam).
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong understanding of Docker.
• Experience implementing data governance policies.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including databases, product tracking, and APIs.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with Terraform and Google Tag Manager.
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance.
• Experience with MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Golang.
• Previous work with DBT (Data Build Tool).
