We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer!

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will take ownership of all Nebeus’s data processes, from data extraction to presentation, managing our current data infrastructure and designing future architecture to enhance and optimize these processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Research and analyze Nebeus’s current data framework and tools.
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, issues, and inaccuracies, developing protocols for data handling, processing, and cleaning.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to understand business needs and key metrics.
• Manage data processes, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Design data pipelines and ELT processes following industry best practices.
• Work with engineering and CRM teams to collect, integrate, and build high-quality data pipelines for analysis.
• Review and propose improvements for existing data sets and dashboards.
• Make data accessible to teams using visualization tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and currency across sources.
• Identify automation opportunities for data reporting.
• Advise teams on additional data points for analysis.
• Drive data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Propose upgrades to Nebeus’s data architecture for integrity and robustness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar.
• Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, ETL pipelines, and working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Native English proficiency is required.
• Advanced Spanish skills are a plus.
• Experience with Zoho CRM is a plus.
• Technical writing skills for queries, reports, and presentations.
• Team player with adaptability and problem-solving skills.
