Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data centre construction projects in Spain, directing multi-disciplinary teams and acting as the primary client contact. You will manage delivery risks and oversee performance across schedule, cost and quality.

You will guide client relationships, drive governance and change control, mentor junior staff, review contractor plans, and ensure successful handovers in mission-critical facilities while working in a hybrid model

Formación

• Essential: Significant experience managing major construction projects within data centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other highly technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading large project teams through all phases of project delivery.
• Proven track record delivering projects with substantial capital values.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, including NEC, FIDIC or equivalent contract forms.
• Experience working directly with global clients, contractors and consultants.
• Knowledge of commissioning and handover processes within mission-critical facilities.

• Lead the delivery of complex hyperscale and colocation data centre construction projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams and construction management resources.
• Oversee contractor performance, project governance and construction execution strategies.
• Manage client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for project matters.
• Lead project reporting, risk management, change control and commercial oversight.
• Review and challenge contractor schedules, methodologies and performance metrics.
• Support procurement strategies and contract administration activities.
• Mentor junior project management staff and contribute to team development.
• Resolve complex technical, commercial and stakeholder issues.
