We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong business acumen who enjoys translating data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions. While the primary focus of this role is on understanding business needs, analyzing data, and delivering recommendations, the candidate will also spend a small portion of their time working on data engineering tasks such as ETL processes, SQL queries, and leveraging tools.

Key Responsibilities

Business-Focused Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership, to identify and understand business challenges and opportunities.
• Translate complex business problems into data-driven questions and design analyses to address them.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively using tools like Power BI.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product and business performance.
• Provide recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis to optimize product features, user experience, and business strategies.
• Act as a bridge between business teams and technical data teams, ensuring alignment on data needs and priorities.

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and available for analysis.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Use Databricks to perform data transformations and collaborate with data engineers on advanced workflows.
• Ensure data integrity and governance by adhering to best practices in data management.

Required Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience : minimum of 4 or 5 years of experience in a data analyst or business analyst role with exposure to technical tasks.
• Strong understanding of business concepts, metrics, and drivers across various domains.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms.
