Job summary

FYUL, formed by the 2024 merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce, seeks a senior security engineer to own parts of its telemetry platform—detection, cloud and endpoint security, DLP, and security automation. This individual-contributor role emphasizes depth, ownership, and hands-on execution in a mature GRC-enabled program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or SecOps with hands-on detections/incidents in production.
• Real detection engineering experience on a modern SIEM/security platform (Elastic Security preferred; Splunk/Sentinel or comparable count).
• Deep mastery of Linux, macOS, and Windows: internals, hardening, and investigation.
• Strong networking expertise: TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and packet analysis.
• Strong cloud security in AWS, including Kubernetes; secured production workloads.
• Hands-on LLM experience: built or operated AI agents/workflows in production.
• Hands-on hacking/hardening credential (OSCP/OSEP or equivalent) is important.
• Demonstrated automation: scripts/integrations/pipelines or AI-assisted workflows.
• Self-directed with ownership; able to take ambiguous problems to completion.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune detections across security telemetry and ML models; triage alerts and drive incidents to closure.
• Harden and monitor AWS and Kubernetes environments; collaborate with engineering for security enablement.
• Own health and hardening of the endpoint agent fleet across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Operate and extend DLP across removable media, email, and SaaS channels; minimize false positives.
• Automate recurring security operations and detection-to-response workflows; integrate established tooling.
• Find infrastructure vulnerabilities via scanning, configuration review, and targeted testing; drive remediation.
